​Although the offering of flowers to the Lord is a very simple gesture, it is an act of devotion and much appreciated by Him. It can also bring that person who offers the flower, with love, closer to Krsna. Flowers are a principle article in the daily worship of the Deities. They are used for every arati ceremonies throughout the day; fresh flower garlands are offered to the the Deities daily; the Deity turbans and hair are adorned with fresh flowers; arrangements of fresh flower vases decorate the altar; and on festival days, the altar and temple room are lavishly decorated with fresh greens and flowers.
