Wake up the way nature intended – to a dawn chorus of peacocks, swans and other birds in a lovely natural woodland where wild deer greet you as they wander down to the nearby lake. Your place to stay when visiting New Vrindaban and Prabhupada’s Palace of Gold. Year-round, the Palace Lodge offers a variety of comfortable lodging with amenities.

Govinda's Restaurant

Our Govinda’s Restaurant is the leading vegetarian restaurant in the Ohio Valley. All of our offerings are mindfully prepared with the very best ingredients available. We serve fresh sanctified vegetarian and vegan meals that delight the palate, promote good health and even elevate one's consciousness.

Cow Sanctuary

Spend time with New Vrindaban’s sacred cows and let the leisurely nature of these gentle giants soothe your soul. If your timing is right, you can try your hand at milking one. Established in 1969, the New Vrindaban Goshala is America’s oldest cow sanctuary. It is essentially a working dairy but with a special difference. Not only do we care for our milking cows, but we also look after the older cows that no longer produce milk.

Festivals & Events

Festivals are an integral part of ISKCON. With myriad of colourful decorations, multi-course feasts, elaborate rituals, kirtans, dance and dramas, the festivals make spiritual progress a fun-filled experience. The original Vedic flavor is thus revived, and anyone who participates in them can vouch that there is no modern day substitute for these soul-satisfying experiences.

Peacock Walk

Flora and fauna are abundant in New Vrindaban. In addition to swans; deer; squirrels and other species of wildlife, more than two dozen graceful peacocks reside on the property. We invite you to meander throughout the majestic grounds year-round and be charmed by these vibrant feathered friends as they boast their vibrantly striking plumage. Our Peacock Walk is a self-guided trail, with informational boards along the way.

Scenic Hikes

Venture into the serene wilderness of the Appalachian Mountains. Take a stroll along the trails surrounding ponds or hike up the grand hills. Day or night, New Vrindaban's natural beauty is a perfect reminder of the expert artistry of the Divine.

Yoga Shala

Our Yoga Shala (Yoga hall) is situated on the edge of a tree-lined, tranquil lake, making it the perfect setting to fully immerse oneself in yoga, mindfulness, meditation, or other reflective practices. The diverse variety of classes and workshops offered at our Yoga Shala include Hatha Yoga classes; Qigong classes; Sound Baths; Kirtan; Retreats and other special events.

Of course your experience at New Vrindaban will leave a lasting impression, but why not pick up souvenirs and devotional items in any case. Both of our boutiques are well stocked with an array of textiles, jewelry, incense, devotional articles, musical instruments, books and more, inspired by Indian culture.

Award-Winning Rose Garden

Adjacent to the Prabhupada's Palace of Gold, is home to our Award-Winning Rose Garden. Take a stroll amongst the 3,000 rose bushes available in 150 varieties. The roses take bloom in the spring and summer seasons, attracting many visitors.
