200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training
February 25 - March 15, 2021
18-night Ashram Immersion In West Virginia
Covid-19 has brought uncertainty to the next level, forcing us to look within and reflect on the real yoga of life. In grappling with the many changes in the world, many of us have had to alter our daily routines including our regular yoga practice. Fortunately, even if your practice has gotten rusty, you can never take the yogi out of yoga.
So, are you looking for a re-boot of your practice? Would you welcome an opportunity to experience the yoga lifestyle full-time? Have you always wanted to do a teacher training and feel that the pandemic is a catalyst of change?
This training is made for you. In late February and early March, Gopi Kinnicutt and other senior teachers from the BYDC team will be leading a full immersion yoga teacher training course at the New Vrindaban ashram in West Virginia. We will spend 18 nights living and learning in this intentional spiritual community in the Appalachian foothills, 5 hours’ drive from Washington, DC.
Bhakti Yoga DC’s unique 200-hour Teacher Training curriculum offers a comprehensive study of yoga postures, philosophy, and lifestyle. It teaches you how to deepen your personal practice, heal and transform your own body and mind through breath and movement, and share this wisdom with others.
After the pandemic ends, people are going to be hungry for something more. They will want to reconnect to their bodies and minds, be part of community again and rediscover their spirituality. You can be an instrument of change in your community. The world needs YOU!
Participants in the training will be required to show proof of a negative Covid-19 test taken no fewer than 5 days before arrival at the retreat center. New Vrindaban is a remote community that has been careful of safety and hygiene practices throughout the pandemic. Our group will operate as a “safe pod” so we can practice together and assist one another while wearing masks.
