Lessons from the Ramayana

“Lessons from the Ramayana”

An online weekend seminar with Amarendra Prabhu

Saturday and Sunday, January 30-31, 7:00-8:30pm

This seminar will focus on the topic of leadership. Being a leader is not just a matter of holding a position, but of exemplifying the qualities of true greatness. Recently in the USA, we’ve seen what kind of problems can result from a lack of these qualities, and we’ll contrast this with the ideal character of Lord Ramachandra as depicted in the epic historical text, The Ramayana. We invite everyone to take shelter of this timeless literature which can offer us peace and stability during these tumultuous times.

And who better to present it than Amarendra Prabhu? Amarendra, at the age of 28, is a globe-trotting inspirational speaker, who has travelled to over 100 cities in various continents, giving talks on big questions about life in the fields of science, religion, culture, and meditation. His soul-stirring and spiritually nourishing discourses on theology, philosophy and the ancient wisdom texts of the east are viral on social platforms such as YouTube and Facebook. He holds a double Masters’ degree from the US, one in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and the other in Business Administration from the state of Minnesota, and in his early days as a student, he was trained by HH Bhakti Swarup Damodar Maharaj who was a dear disciple of Srila Prabhupada and the global director for the Bhakti Vedanta Institute.

Amarendra completed his Bhakti Shastri study at the age of 19 and since then has been invited and has participated in numerous inter-religious faith conferences and at scientific symposiums with talks at world class universities such as MIT and Harvard.

A diksha disciple of His Holiness Rādhā Govinda Maharaj, Amarendra aspires to serve Srimad Bhagavatam far and wide to bring pleasure and satisfaction to the hearts of Vaishnavas worldwide.
