Bhakti Purusottama Swami

His Holiness Bhakti Purusottama Swami, GBC - Mayapur, will visit New Vrindavan on June 21st - 23rd. He is the author of two books "The Glories and Pastimes of Srimati Radharani" and "Sri Jagannath".

He will speak about Pandava Nirjala Ekadasi in the temple on Monday evening, June 21st at 7:30pm. Pizza & French Fries will be served at 8:30 pm.
Maharaja will speak at the morning Bhagavatam class about Lord Jagannath on Tuesday, June 22nd, 8 am. Part two of his talk will be in the temple room on Tuesday, June 22nd at 7:30 pm. Tuesday is Pandava Nirjala Ekadasi. This is a very auspicious time to hear and chant. A light ekadasi meal will be served at 8:30 pm.

We are fortunate to have Maharaja begin the celebration of Lord Jagannath's Rathayatra pastimes with his visit to New Vrindavan. We will observe Snana-yatra (bathing of Lord Jagannath) on Sunday, June 27th. Another announcement with more details about the festival is coming (as soon as I complete this one : ). And, New Vrindavan Rathayatra is Saturday, July 10th.

Since we are making pizza Monday evening and the next day is Ekadasi, we don't want to make too much. Please email me if you plan to attend Monday evening so we can get an estimate of how much to cook.
