Grocery Donation

Dear Visitors / Devotees

The New Vrindaban Community has offered free breakfast and lunch prasadam to our guests since our inception.  We currently serve over 40,000 meals a year to resident devotees and guests.  We'd like to continue to provide free prasadam for everyone, but with the rising food costs, we are facing financial challenges.

According to the International Monetary Fund, over the past 12 months global food prices have increased on average by more than 40%.  The recent record increases in food prices are having serious implications for the Food Chain and directly impact the cost of purchasing groceries for the temple overall.

In order to continue delivering the quality, nutritious meals to the deities as well as the devotees, we are asking for bhoga donations.  The next time you are shopping at an Indian foods store, purchase some extra food for the temple and donate them when you visit New Vrindaban.

Here are groceries we are always in special need of:

* Moong dahl
* Tur dahl
* Basmati rice
* Besan flour
* Soji
* Cashews
* Coconut powder
* Chapati flour
* Hing

If everyone would donate some bhoga when they visit, we might be able to continue to distribute free breakfast and lunch prasadam  - presently, and in the years to come.  We appreciate anyone willing to contribute to the temple in this way.  Please contact Jaya Krsna Dasa at 304-843-1600 Ext. 149 or write us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Thank you very much for your help.
